Love that they really care about their community and the fundraising annual concert series that they do benefiting the suicide prevention association is amazing. 10/10; I wish everyone could come experience the warmth and welcoming atmosphere here at hidden tracks."

"I am a record collector and frequent a few dozen record stores in the tri-state area. Hidden Tracks Records has quickly become one of my favorite stops. Not only do they have an ever changing selection, but the owner, Shane offers great conversation. I primarily shop Kiss records/cassettes/8-tracks, and each time I've visited, there was a new collection of used vinyl to explore and seek for my holy grails. And the great conversation leads to a great and memorable experience. Isn't that what we are looking for when entering an indie record store?"

"i wish i could review this shell corpora.. i mean record store. Sadly, (but probably not) I have tried to visit this store 7 times in the last year (first attempt 2024), always greeted with a locked door(during open hours), and sometime the odd "back in 15" (waited a half hour across the street to no avail) Even checked back multiple times on RSD 2024!!! closed each time(about an hour or so between attempts) I did see that it was open one day, in August, as my roommate and I often ruck through Boonton, and the parks. we like to visit Boonton Coffee Co. catfight, the Empanada joint,( sometimes J&M Hot dogs if were feeling like a decadent dirty water cheat,)/. This one day they were actually Open!! Someone actually pulled the door handle, and said Door opened!! i wondered what devil magic they conjured, what dark secrets they held in their soul.. but alas, it just so happened the owner wanted to open that day( well on a day there isn't an artist performing acoustic for nearly $40 to enter). Do yourself a favor, Visit an actual record store, or a slightly bougie, but actually open shop that has amazing coffee/tea/snacks, CD's posters, Local artists/artwork.. Sweet vinyl cafe in Denville(not an ad) is a safe bet, although can be a bit pricey. If you want to dive deep and not buy/wade through everything super reissue, (although they have a ton, and a ton of new) but want an o.p. of an album, CD, VHS, poster, magazine, or want to shop vintage audio equip(some new) then Factory records in Dover. Long gone are the days of "let it Rock", "Two Tone"(both locations) Sound exchange(i say this because they are no longer reasonably priced, and have gone the way of the hipster), "Cafe Soundz", "Mr. Mucks", "Pier Platters", "Venus Records" and a on of other great stores. whatever, shop where you want. this joint is garbage on the sidewalk for 6 days in august."
